I had a wonderful time last night at your Cooking Demonstration Dinner (Baird Private Wealth Management) held at IL Mito Trattoria E Enoteca. It clearly was one of the best events I have ever attended. The dinner was fantastic and the passion in which you discuss and present information was outstanding. My only disappointment was that my wife had to be out of town on business this week and missed what she would have thought was a fabulous evening (she loves to cook and bake). Well done Chef Feker!!

I’m thrilled with the experience I had [at IL Mito]

In town from Toronto for work. Visited Il Mito last night after a coworker recommended checking out the Wauwatosa area for dinner. He didn’t recommend any specific places, but after checking out a few reviews (and being obsessed with good Italian food) I knew this was the place. Wow! SO GLAD I found it.

The special was a pumpkin ravioli which sounded amazing, but unfortunately they ran out just after I ordered. I had read such great reviews about the spaghetti, that even though it seemed like a “boring” choice, I decided to give it a whirl. Oh my! It was everything people said and more. So much flavour, and all of the meat was so tender. The noodles were fantastic. There was nothing I didn’t like about the dish. It was the best spaghetti bolognese I’ve ever had at a restaurant. You have to try it! Even my insalata mista was the best simple green salad I’ve had. Bonus for everything being really reasonably priced. There were a few times that the service was a bit slower than I would have liked, for example when I needed more water or wanted to pay the bill.. but it seemed to be just my waiter specifically that disappeared; I could see others were being very attentive. This was such a minor issue though. All in all I’m thrilled with the experience I had. Can’t wait to visit Milwaukee again to see what new items the Chef has to offer!

and now I can proudly say that I have won in all categories. The winners were announced yesterday. The event that was spearheaded by the Milwaukee press club will be held on Jan 28th 2016 at the Grain Exchange , but this coming tuesday (1/26/16) I will be on CBS 58

during their 4oclock news hour to share my excitement and express my gratitude to everyone of you.

Now you see what I mean, when I call myself your chef. You have made me who I am.

Chef and Team!!

Our meal yesterday was absolutely amazing, and I think that we all learned so much to help us be better chefs in our own kitchens. Thank you so much for taking the time with us, and for all the shared information. The meal was incredible, I know that myself I’m trying not to eat anything to keep those flavors in my mouth! Your team was so professional and catered to our needs so well. We loved, loved, loved our experience together with you.

Also I will tell you that setting this all up with your team was a breeze, so easy and you were so accommodating with all the requests and changes we asked for! Your response time to emails and everything was great, thanks for making this whole process, from beginning to end,  so enjoyable!

One quick question, I think I heard you mention the recipe for the salad was posted somewhere, can you let me know where? There were a few people asking about it yesterday.

Thank you to the chefs at Zesti

Thank you to the chefs at Zesti for accommodating our carryout request for our party last Sunday. The Fettucine Bolognese was fantastic, and a great treat for my parents’ 50th Anniversary dinner. 

And no one could believe the pasta was gluten free! It was excellent- my family absolutely loved it.
